Overview
Develop the skills and confidence to become an effective mentor.
Being trained as a mentor gives you the opportunity to mentor others, whilst learning new skills, developing greater self-awareness and reflecting on your practice.
This interactive one-day workshop will help you understand the purpose and structure of effective mentoring. You’ll explore the mentoring process, how it differs from coaching, and develop practical skills and tools you can use in your own mentoring sessions.
What will you learn?
By the end of the workshop, you will:
- understand how mentoring fits within leadership and management contexts, and how it differs from coaching
- understand the mentoring lifecycle, including how to establish, develop and bring a mentoring relationship to an effective close
- explore practical tools and approaches to support your mentoring sessions
- increase your confidence in applying mentoring skills in your own service.
Who should attend?
This free one-day facilitated workshop is for registered manager members of 大象传媒, specifically for those currently in post as registered managers.
Please only register if you are an active registered manager member. During registration, you will be asked for your membership number. This can be found on the certificate you received when you became a member or on your .
