This is an exciting tender opportunity for a supplier to undertake an evaluation of the past two years of the to establish its impact (benefits to employers, learners, the adult social care sector as a whole and the UK economy) both qualitatively and quantitatively. The evaluation will also identify satisfaction, challenges encountered, lessons learnt and examples of good practice. It will also calculate the return on investment. We also require a meta-analysis of the previous Fund evaluations, including the one currently being commissioned.

Q. What is the indicative budget for this piece of work?
A. Proposals submitted by applicants will be assessed based on the requirements stated and value for money. The maximum ceiling price is £40,000 including VAT.
This is an exciting tender opportunity for a supplier to carry out research into successful recruitment and retention strategies and practices in other sectors similar to adult social care (similar in terms of pay, terms and conditions, such as shift patterns and pressures, and demographic diversity of the workforce).
The commission will be a secondary research exercise, undertaking a desk-based review of available published data on the specified subject matter with the possibility of qualitative data collection. It will focus on recruitment strategies, technology and tools, diversity and inclusion, and employee retention strategies.
The paper should also include practical recommendation and examples of how the adult social care sector could adapt and apply successful strategies used in other sectors.
