Care home plans casino-themed afternoon for residents and local community

Staff and residents are looking forward to a Las Vegas themed afternoon of fun, with a free casino event planned for both residents and the local community on 7 May.
They plan to transform the care home into a fun and lively casino, reminiscent of the ratpack Vegas era. Residents and guests will be given Bernard Sunley Casino Chips when they arrive which they can use on all the casino table games, including roulette, blackjack and the wheel of fortune.
Bernard Sunley’s chef will also be serving a delicious array of Vegas-themed refreshments for the residents and visitors enjoy, with a “lucky bites” menu including golden nuggets, ace sliders, royal flush wraps and millionaire’s’ shortbread.
In addition, Daniel Brewerton will be performing on stage with classic Vegas songs by iconic singers such as Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Junior and Frank Sinatra.
Meanwhile, the home will be decorated inspired by the famous Vegas casinos such as The Bellagio, Caesars Palace and MGM Grand, and attendees are also encouraged to dress in their finest.
